Description
Bio Chlorella is a freshwater green algae that is one of the oldest organisms on earth, quite popular with vegans, and a source of iron and bioavailable vitamin B12. Chlorella contains a range of essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals (contains all of the B vitamins, vitamin C, E, zinc and iron) as well as proteins and up to 7.3% leucine, the most important anti-catabolic amino acid. The emerald color of chlorella suggests that it is a rich source of chlorophyll, a plant dye. It is used medicinally as an anti-inflammatory agent, but also acts as a powerful natural antioxidant and has a beneficial effect on the intestinal microflora. It also contains dietary fiber, ribonucleic acids and unique chlorella growth factor (CGF) – a phytonutrient that enhances probiotic growth, tissue regeneration, helps prevent a range of diseases and promotes cellular regeneration.
